Q. Who is Krissy's Cakes? What do they do?

A. Krissy's Cakes is a custom pre-order cake shop that specializes in fresh, not frozen, cakes that taste as good as they look. We are not your local grocery chain that slaps on some way too sweet icing and calls it a day. Our icing really is the "icing" on the cake, allowing for the cake flavors to come through. Cake euphoria if you will. Our clients come to us to bring a tasty end to their life celebrations.

Q. Why am I getting voicemail or an absence email?

A. We understand that it may be frustrating to get our voicemail or an absence email. Your order is very important to us! We are very excited to work with Groupon and to meet our new clients. We will be closed through the Christmas Holiday and will re-open December 28th. We will begin taking orders on the 28th for the 30th and beyond. Please email us or leave us a detailed message and we will return your message within 1 business day.

Q. Can we walk-in and just pick up a cake?

A. Because our cakes are customized to each client we require you to order at least 48 hours in advance. This way we can assure that your cake is fresh and made just for you.

Q. What does our Groupon include?

A. Your Groupon purchase includes an 8' round cake that serves 15 guests made in any of our 26 flavors. A boarder is added and the cake can be iced in any color as well as have a piped saying on top.

Q. Can we use our Groupon towards a larger order?

A. Yes, You can use the value towards ANY celebration cake purchase $40 or more. This means cupcakes, tiered cake and even 3D cakes.

Q. Can we combine the Groupon with another Groupon or with another discount?

A. You cannot combine them, but you may use them on separate orders, even if ordered in the same day.

Q. How can we order a cake?

A. We like to make it easy to order a cake! You can email us your order, order by phone and walk-in to order. In any case, you must receive an order confirmation from us to complete your order.

Q. When are you open?

A. Krissy's Cakes is available for by appoinment only. You can contact us by phone or through email if you need to discuss the specifics of an order.

Q. How far in advance can we book a cake order?

A. We recommend booking an order as soon as you know you will need a cake. I know, that's too much planning. But I can guarantee that you will be happy to have the main dessert checked off of your party to do list. We tend to book celebration cakes anywhere from 7 days to 3 months in advance. Don't ever assume that you are the only one throwing a party on any givin day. Be safe and order in advance.

Q. When can I pick up my cake?

A. During the order process you will be asked to set a pick up day and time. You may pick your cake up anytime after the set time on your specific day.

Q. What is the size of the cake?

A. Our 8" celebration cake is an 8" round cake that is about 4.5 inches tall. This cake serves 15 guests with good size slices. 

Q. Where are you located?

A. Blink and you miss us.... no really! Here is our Google Maps link. If you pass Crystal Falls going North, you have missed us.

Q. What happens if I allow my Groupon to expire?

A. We hope that you will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy cake in the 12 months that your Groupon is good for. If you allow your Groupon to expire we will allow you to use the amount you purchased the groupon for, which is $20, to be used towards a purchase of $20 or more.

Q. What happens if you are Closed on my event date?

A. As we have mentioned above, being a custom cake shop, we have certain working hours as based on our work load. We recommend booking an order as soon as you know you will need a cake. We cannot guarantee  that your specific date will be available. We will however, do everything we can to work with you if we are given enough notice. We tend to book celebration cakes anywhere from 7 days to 3 months in advance. Don't ever assume that you are the only one throwing a party on any givin day. Be safe and order in advance.

Q. Can I order my cake for any date I want?

A. Just like any other small business, we have certain working hours. We are working in the office Wednesday through Friday almost every week. We allow for orders to be picked up Wednesday though Saturday based on availability. We are however closed on major holidays, such as the week before Christmas and other dates may be booked with out of town events that require us to travel. If your date is in question, please give us a call in advance to discuss your needs.
